Results

The likelyhood of becoming pregrant after an IVF procedure is dependent on many different factors. Underlying causes of infertility as well as the factor of age has to be accounted for. Despite individualized treatment, it is more difficult for some couples/singles to be become pregnant compared to others. Results that are reported from a clinic are always on a group level and the theoretical success rate of each individual couple/person is difficult to asses.

The results from GynHälsan Fertility clinic are good. The pregnancy rate after a single treatment with IVF and/or ICSI currently varies from between 55-65% per embryo transfer within the group of women at the age of 36- 38 years.  The results from transfer of fresh or froozen embryos are almost equal. Repeated attempts increase the odds of achieving a pregnancy.
